Guildford European Veterans Fencing Competition 2026

Despite the snow storms, wind and rain that battered the country over the weekend, eleven members of the Epee Club battled their way to Guildford for the first veterans fencing competition of 2026.

Georgina Usher led the medal table with a Gold Medal in the Cat 2 (50+) Women’s Epee, followed by Anton Pollard with a Silver Medal in the Men’s Cat 4 (70+) Epee.

Sue Uff completed our total of medals for the weekend with a Bronze in the Cat 4 (70+) Women’s Foil.
