Epee Club Women Lead The Way

It was the Epee Club women who led the way, for club members, in the medals table at last weekend’s British Veterans Nationals Competition held at the Manchester Fencing Centre. Georgina Usher topped the podium by finishing in gold medal position.

Georgina was presented with her trophy, Epee Club Medal, Manchester Fencing Centre Award and the Gold Medal for winning the Cat 2 Women’s Epee, from Epee Club member Theo Ayanwale.

Also in the medals were Sue Brooks for winning the Cat 4 Women’s Epee and Anton Pollard for his winning of the Cat 4 Men’s Epee.

Also fencing at the competition were club members: Tim Buzwell, Hugh Kernohan, Neale Thomas, Steven Bateman, Theo Ayanwale, Susan Uff. The competition was organised by Theo Ayanwale.
