2025 Le Froy Cup

On Sat 14th June the Le Froy Cup was held at Hurlingham. In bright sunshine and beautiful surroundings 6 EC members took to the piste to contest the 2025 Le Froy Cup, ably supported by a host of members and guests. Competing were the Brooks’s (Sue & Rob), our Hon Sec. Alain Barbasiewicz, Theo Ayanwale, Mariette Mason and Anton Pollard. Assisting with the refereeing was Pat Casey, supporters and helpers were the Hon President David Partridge; Steve and Diane Lennox; David Worsfold, Alex Brooks and Howard West along with an abundant amount of spectators from the Hurlingham throng.

 With the bouche system in play a close and fiercely fought competition ensued. Sue was 4th on 1 victory; Anton and Alain were even in third place with 2 victories; Mariette and Theo shared second place on 3 victories with Rob coming out a clear winner with 4 victories. 

Our thanks to those who helped put out and roll up the piste and the supplier of the copious amount of Pimm’s ( Hon Pres.) which was much needed on such a hot afternoon.
