Year gets off to a scorcher!

Saturday dawned too hot for many, a brave band of 4 took to the piste in 30 deg. C temperatures at Hurlingham to compete for the Inns of Court Gold Cup. A twice round poule resulted in Al Barbasiewisz coming out the winner with Rob Brooks in second, Lawrence Burr in third and Sue Brooks in fourth. Supporting and keeping the Pimm's flowing was David Partridge, Ian Hunter, Anton Pollard, Brian Hill, with Pat Casey and Howard West as referees.

The Inns of Court Trophy was presented to Alain by Harriette Peel, granddaughter of Charles de Beaumont.
